CLASSES:
These
classes will develop perception and intuition in the practice of improvisation
uniting the study of movement with ones personal creativity to enhance ones
physical and theatrical presence.
The first
part, bODy in PerFORMance with
Charlotte Zerbey will include intense work on the perception and
experience of space within the body and its relationship to others and will
lead to an enjoyment of the physical experience of limbs to center, feeling
connection in space and connected to ones creative voice and ability to
interact with the surrounding environment and others.
The
second part, Collective Naratives with Alessandro
Certini will be a working space for improvising in small and large groups to
enhance ones personal skills. The guided sessions and feed-back will focus on
dance improvisation as a collective act, a way to create dances where each
of our narratives relate to and support the others. We will practice and refine
our ability to develop group work.
